After nearly 10 months of being carried and moved from location to location, Olivia has discovered the joy of personal locomotion! Yes folks, we are FINALLY crawling. Not all willy nilly yet, but if there is something less than 10 feet away and she wants it, it's hers. :)
For nearly a month she was getting up with one foot tucked under and would scoot back into a corner. NOT too effective she soon found. But someone would rescue her and the process would start again. THEN, seriously out of no where, something just clicked! And now she goes forward no problem. She will get back into sitting position and clap for herself. I think Xochi (her second cousin) finally convinced her that crawling was the way to go. (no pun intended.)
GO BABY! You are so smart. We love you.
