24th of July

For those of you "non-Utah" Residents, the 4th of July is the celebration of the year...but here, oh no. It's the 24th! Horray for Pioneers! I love it. We spent the morning up at the Parade at the Alta Club (sorry, no pics). Olivia made friends with some kids sitting in the prime spot for watching the parade and skittered back and forth from the breakfast table to the parade spot. It was a fun morning.
We then made our way up to Park City for the annual 24th in the Park event hosted by the Stake. It's a great community event. There is live music, free food, games, crafts and even fire truck tours. It was a great day. The perfect temperature.
We had a coupon for $40 worth of fireworks for $20 so we went and got some! We should have taken a picture of the box set we got. It was about 2 feet by 4 feet of fireworks! Adam did fireworks with his family growing up, but the most we ever did on a regular basis was sparklers. So it was pretty exciting. We had the Foothill Gang come over and enjoy the fireworks with us all. It was awesome.

This was a darling post. How do you get to add letters to your pictures? The picture of Olivia in fireman boots was so funny. She is growing up and changing so fast!
