Now time for church.
We have been sitting in some great weather the past couple of weeks. Not too hot, not too cold. And I'm hoping it stays like this for at least another couple weeks so I can get this baby here without having to sweat it out! Every time it rains or is a little cooler I count my blessings.
We are in the process of revamping Olivia's room to make room for baby #2. They will eventually share a room (I hope) so we are trying to condition Olivia to sleeping with a little more noise.
We made pulled pork again this week. I still can't believe how easy it is! And it makes it all the better when pork is $0.99 a pound. We had a few friends over yesterday for an impromptu Cinco De Mayo, we made scones for desert. yum!
We have started putting in our garden. Thus far we have, zucchini, watermelon, pumpkins, tomatoes, Anaheim peppers, lettuce and onions in. Any other suggestions? We are trying a new plot so we have plenty of room to plant. Let's hope it has a good yield!
Adam is still busy as ever at school. Unfortunately, this means he can't come take Olivia once a week for a few hours any more...boo! So now the plan is to find a sitter for one afternoon a week to come to the house once the baby is born. Hopefully we can find someone.
Olivia is still talking up a storm. The other day, she came in, pointing at her foot. "hurt, hurt" she kept saying until I kissed her little foot better. Then all was well. She spends most of the day attending to her stuffed animals and babies, putting them down for naps and insisting that anyone in the house be quiet so they can sleep. "Shhhhh Shhhh! babies sleeping!"
She tries to count, but it's more like "in, in, three!" since three is what we count to most frequently.
Her favorite books as of late are "Everywhere babies" and "Goodnight moon" She is also starting to sing little dittys when she is playing by herself.
Olivia LOVES nursery. Most of the other kids even those older than her have some seperation anxiety, but she runs straight to the door following sacrament and says "bye bye momma!"
Olivia is also very strict about her bedtime. If she goes down after 7pm, she walks into her room and says, "bed, bye bye momma, nigh-night" She doesn't want a story, she just wants to get straight into bed. She sleeps pretty well until 7:30 am, where she will just sit and talk until we come to get her. It's so nice that she is a happy baby in the morning.
We love our little girl, and can't believe she won't be the baby in our family very soon.

She'll still be your baby, just your older baby. She still needs to be babied too. She looks so darling in the dirndl. Did you make it? Probably yes, you are a very clever seamstress. You have her trained well to go to bed at night which will save you when you have two to bunk down. Miss you all!!
Olivia is darling! It's exciting that baby boy is coming so soon! It may still work out for me to take Olivia once I move up there. Let's keep in touch. ;-)
What a darling Sunday outfit. She is spring all over. Love that she loves nursery and going to bed. That's called a golden child. Can you clone her??!! Maybe Adam can? Does he do that sort of thing? She's adorable, what great parents she has too.
She sounds like the perfect little girl! Way to go Jessica and Adam! We're so excited to see Baby Clayton. I'm sure he'll be just as sweet.
We started eating a lot of pork all these years too for that same reason. It is the other white meat!
She is adorable and her hair and eyes look so scandinavian. We r still working on my little girls sleeping together, though there room is set up for it. I enjoyed reading all about her. We r so excited for little brother to join soon :)
