Perspective

Olivia is at the stage where she can't move any where but wants too, so if I'm not right there to play with her she begins to shout. It's exhausting, especially when we are still fighting illness at our house. But then I was thinking, "what if she is thinking the same thing?" What if she is thinking, "Oh no, she left and I have to cry again so she feels like she's needed...man this is exhausting!"
Probably not, but it makes me feel better thinking she is crying for my benefit and not my demise.

What a brilliant insight. I'm going to try to think that way too. Does it work the same way when their 4 or 12? I don't dare ask! You're such a good Mom!
