So on our way back from St. George we decided to get a little culture and explore one of Utah's tourist attractions...Cove Fort. It was a shelter for those traveling to or from St. George and other southern settlements. The church bought it a while back and restored it really well.

we went there on our way down to vegas this summer too! i hope you guys got a prairie diamond! we got one because we had been married for less than a year. :)
This was President Hinckley's father's assignment and a difficult one with all the Indian raids in the area. Haven't seen it for about 15 years and need to go again. Loved the "happily married" travelers look about you both.
