Camping

The Ward Campout this year was a total success. It was at AspenLakes just above Heber. Beautiful facility on a beautiful lake, fully equipped with canoes and the whole gamete of toys and games.

Olivia and Oscar. They are almost exactly the same age and have become some of the best of friends.
Daddy was offering horsey rides and so Olivia took him up on it
 lots of canoeing fun!
Olivia has started to pull herself up on pretty much anything, She enjoys being upright.
But she still crawls everywhere. And she doesn't seem to mind the grass at all.
by about 9pm Olivia had had enough and was ready to hit the sack
So we pulled out our lanterns and hit the road to sleep at Mom and Dad Brothers. Sorry, camping when a bed is only a few miles away just isn't our thing...maybe one day we will invest in the comfort camping supplies, and stay the night.

Looks like you have an awesome ward. For some reason in the last 5 years we have lived in ours, there has only been one ward campout. Great idea to sleep at your parents! I will have to tell you another time about our long night at that ward campout when Tyler was 5 months old. Needless to say we haven't been camping again...

Hey, that sounds like my kind of camping, especially when you have a baby. It's a long night when they don't sleep and it's cold outside, etc. etc. Still it looks like you had a fun time.
